Exposing Islam 2- The Nature of the First Revelation from an Angel
" The commencement of the Divine
Inspiration to Allah's Apostle was in the form of good dreams which came true like bright day
light, and then the love of seclusion was bestowed upon him. He used to go in seclusion in the cave
of Hira where he used to worship (Allah alone) continuously for many days
before his desire to see his family. He used to take with him on the journey
food for the stay and then come back to (his wife)
Khadija to take his food like-wise again till suddenly the Truth
descended upon him while he was in the cave of Hira. The angel came to him and
asked him to read. The Prophet replied, "I do not know
how to read ". The Prophet added, "The angel caught me (forcefully) and
pressed me so hard that I could not bear it any more. He then released me and again asked me to
read and I replied, 'I do not know how to read.' Thereupon he caught me again and pressed me a
second time till I could not bear it any more. He then released me and again asked me to read but
again I replied, 'I do not know how to read'. Thereupon he
caught me for the third time and
pressed me, and then released me and said,'Read in the name of your Lord, who
has created (all that exists) has created man from a clot. Read! And your Lord is the Most
Generous." (96.1, 96.2, 96.3) Then Allah's
Apostle returned with the Inspiration and
with his heart beating severely. Then he went to Khadija bint Khuwailid and said, "Cover me! Cover
me!" They covered him till his fear was over and after that he told her everything that had
happened and said, "I fear that something may happen to me." Khadija replied, "Never! By Allah,
Allah will never disgrace you. You keep good relations with your kith and kin, help the poor and the
destitute, serve your guests generously and assist the deserving calamity-afflicted
ones."
Khadija then accompanied him to her cousin Waraqa bin Naufal bin Asad bin 'Abdul 'Uzza, who, during the Pre-Islamic Period became a Christian and used to write the writing with Hebrew letters. He would write from the Gospel in Hebrew as much as Allah wished him to write. He was an old man and had lost his eyesight. Khadija said to Waraqa, "Listen to the story of your nephew, O my cousin!" Waraqa asked, "O my nephew! What have you seen?" Allah's Apostle described whatever he had seen. Waraqa said, "This is the same one who keeps the secrets (angel Gabriel) whom Allah had sent to Moses. I wish I were young and could live up to the time when your people would turn you out." Allah's Apostle asked, "Will they drive me out?" Waraqa replied in the affirmative and said, "Anyone (man) who came with something similar to what you have brought was treated with hostility; and if I should remain alive till the day when you will be turned out then I would support you strongly." But after a few days Waraqa died and the Divine inspiration was also paused for a while.

The Angel
1. Does something unusual . He presses hard and squeezes Mohammed to such an extent that he become afraid. The angel frightened him which is usual for demons and not for angels. The angel did not tell what he ususally says whenever a human becomes afraid in his presence. He did not say , "Fear Not".
Nowhere do angels hurt a man before giving a revelation. Though it is natural to incur fear upon seeing a heavenly being , it was the angels who always said ," Fear not ,....." to ally the fear . See how Gabriel normally does his duty of carrying and delivering messages.
"28And he (Gabriel) came to her and said, "Greetings, favored one! The Lord is with you." 29But she was much perplexed by his words and pondered what sort of greeting this might be. 30The angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God." Luke 1
Every time a human incurs fears after seeing an angelic being , the angel would say , "Fear not". But with Mohammed this did not happen. He went fearing all the way home ,where his first wife Kadhija comforted him and convinced him that the revelation is from God.
2. Mohammed does not know who the messenger was . He did not introduce himself to Mohammed. It was a Christian relative of Mohammed who made him believe it was Gabriel.
O my cousin!" Waraqa asked, "O my nephew! What have you seen?" Allah's Apostle described whatever he had seen. Waraqa said, "This is the same one who keeps the secrets (angel Gabriel) whom Allah had sent to Moses.
(Bukhari 1.1.3 M.K)"
Then he was taken to a Christian cousin , who convinces him that the angel was ofcourse Gabriel.
So this point of deception and oppression was not from Gabriel as his cousin said. It was from Satan himself ,for this incident bears all the tell tale signs of the devil at the crime scene.
This incident is all upside down. Instead of Mohammed telling who had visited him , it was others who convinced him that it was Gabriel , God's messenger. This incident is the beginning of the quranic revelation. God did not speak to him directly as he did with Moses and the other prophets. If he was the greatest of all the prophets , then God would talk to him and convince him . Atleast the angel should have allyed his fears and convinced him as it happened with Moses or Gideon or Mary.
1.Angels never hurt people. Only demons and devil , hurt /press people
2.Angels comfort people with a "Fear not" , when humans naturally incur fear on seeing them. Demons induce fear and confuse people.
3. A man who has received a calling from God will convince others and will have the conviction about his calling. He will show signs and miracles to convince others , like Moses , Elijah etc. Here Mohammed exhibits the opposite. He was overcome with fear and was confused. Others who were not with him when the revelation occured convinced him into believing whatever he subsequent came to believe about the encounter with the angel of light , Satan.
Bible clearly teaches that
1. Satan will masquarade as the angel of light .
"And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light" - 2 Corinthians 11:14
2. He is a liar and father of all lies. He was a deceiver.
"Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own nature, for he is a liar and the father of lies." John 8:44
The Quran says , "Allah is the best of all deceivers." Quran 3:54
And they cheated/deceived and God cheated/deceived, and God (is) the best (of) the cheaters/deceivers."
"And when those who disbelieved deceive/scheme at you to affix/affirm you, or kill you, or bring you out, and they scheme/deceive , and God deceives/schemes and God (is) best (of) the deceivers/schemers." Quran 8:30
Dear people, God is truth . He will never deceive , never use deceit. The Bible very clearly says,
"God is light , in him there is no darkness" 1 John
"God is not a man. He will not lie." Numbers 23:19
Allah of the quran is the best of deceivers. So he is not the true God who is revelaed in the bible. He is a non existing deity , proclaimed by Satan through Mohammed.
So it was Satan not Gabriel who visited Mohammed and frightened him , confused him and deceived him. Mohammed had no idea what was going on . Satan did not explain and Mohammed did not know. Mohammed became an instrument in the hands of the devil, to drag many away from the truth, to induce hatred in the name of God , to deny the Lord Jesus ,his death and his resurrection, to set up a proxy role model who married femles of all ages from a elderly widow as his first wife to a 6 year old Child as his favourite wife , to stop the spread of the good news of our Lord Jesus, which is unstoppable.
