Holy Matrimony - Love Marriage

Mr.JayaSurya and Mrs. Satya Jayasurya 's marriage was a simple one ,held at a local church . Jayasurya is a believer from a catholic background , but now baptised and memeber of A.G church.Sathya is a believer from a hindu family , baptised and part of the Believer's church. They work in the same Christian hospital. They fell in love and wanted to marry. But the girls' parents did not agree. They were against their daughter marrying outside their caste and religion. They tried their best to convince her to leave him and settledown with a man of their choice within their caste and religion. But Sathya did not budge. Surya and Sathya ,by faith in Christ , decided to get married and with help of the local church and the hospital where they are working , God helped them to fix a date for the marriage. The girl's family on seeing that she is not coming their way , disowned her and made her sign a bond with this regard. Though the natural family disowned her , the spiritual family , the family of faith , took up their marriage as their family programme and united them in Holy Matrimony in Christ , for the Glory of God. God's will is good and it has certainly been for his Glory ,as he worked out everything for his children who were committed to live according to HIS word.
Personally , it was a great day of answered prayer , as I was praying for their marriage for the past one year.
The courage ,faith and committment shown by Sathya is a great example for us . It is a great analogy of the Christian life , where we sacrifice earthly relationships and comforts and face oppositions  to be with God our true lover and bridegroom. It depicts the cross the believer is called to carry. To make sure that she marries a believer of her choice , Sathya had to sacrifice her most important and most sentimental relationships . She has set an example for us in this regard , of the Christian life ,for us to follow. Surya has also set a good example by not backing off in spite of oppositions and setbacks and taking the risk by faith in Christ , who has honored their committment and prayer.
