Recognizing the evil effect , excessive money can have on a growing boy, Pappa rajini tells the relative who wants to adopt his son,
"Bring him up as an ordinary man ,as a person of good character. He should not even smell the scent of money"
That child is the son rajini, who is a good character and hero of the movie.
Moral of the story: Give character more importance than money. Excess money can corrupt character.
